Regenera Ventures, an instrument from the 2024 Lab cycle, was featured in a recent ImpactAlpha article on female climate entrepreneurship in Latin America.
Regenera Ventures Fund invests, mainly through redeemable equity, in companies within the agriculture, forestry, ecotourism, rural management and food systems sector in Mexico. Supplementing their financial offering with technical support, the fund provides the tools for companies to plan, implement, and scale regenerative management, helping increase climate resilience. The instrument is one of two ideas from the Lab’s inaugural Latin America and the Caribbean program.
The initiative is led Stevie Smyth and Laura Ortiz, both women based in Mexico.
