The Tropical Resilience Fund (TREF), a 2025 Lab instrument developed by Impact Earth, has launched its Warehousing Facility to begin investing in nature-based businesses and projects across Latin America and Southeast Asia. UNEP’s Restoration Seed Capital Facility (RSCF) and Good Energies Foundation by Porticus are providing the facility’s first catalytic capital, helping TREF finance initial investments and build a track record to attract further investment. The milestone moves TREF from design to deployment, helping close a persistent financing gap for nature-based ventures seeking to scale.
