London, 27 July 2026 – The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) and Adaptation Asia, in partnership with TerrAvant, announced today that the Panra Fund has been selected for grant support from the SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI) through its Innovation Window. The Panra Fund, a member of the Lab’s 2026 cohort, is a climate finance solution designed to strengthen resilience for farmers across Southeast Asia.

The selection follows a competitive two-stage process under SIFI’s fifth Innovation Window Call for Proposals focused on climate adaptation and resilience. Upon completion of the contracting process, the grant will support the fund’s design phase, pilot implementation, and organizational capacity building, while strengthening its readiness to reach first close and mobilize private capital.

Once operational, the Panra Fund aims to improve climate resilience for 1.8 million farmers across Southeast Asia through a blended finance model that combines investment capital with embedded ecosystem technology to generate verifiable resilience data and ecosystem-linked payments.

The Panra Fund is one of eight innovative climate finance solutions in the Lab’s 2026 cohort and is currently undergoing the Lab’s development support phase.

“SIFI’s support will be instrumental in advancing the Panra Fund toward first close and scaling our efforts to build resilience for smallholder farmers across Southeast Asia,” said Ben Warren, CEO Adaptation Asia. “By combining blended finance with technology-enabled measurement of resilience outcomes, we aim to create a model that can attract investment and deliver meaningful impact for smallholder farmers.”

“This recognition from SIFI is an important step in the Panra Fund’s journey from innovative concept to investment-ready solution,” said Amanda Brasil-Leigh, Lab Global Manager. “The Lab works to help promising climate finance solutions reach the market, and we’re excited to see Panra Fund gain this support as it builds momentum toward mobilizing investments for resilience and adaptation in Southeast Asia.”

“The Panra Fund stands out for its innovation and scalability potential. The Resilience Asset model is a genuinely novel approach with the potential to establish a new asset class. Our partnership will focus on proofing the concept and building investment readiness.” said Tenke Zoltáni, CEO of SIFI.

About the Lab

The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance is an investor-led, public-private initiative that identifies, develops, and launches innovative financial vehicles that can drive billions of dollars in private investment into climate action and sustainable development. Since 2014, Lab-endorsed instruments have mobilized more than USD 5 billion for climate action in emerging markets and developing economies.

About Adaptation Asia

Adaptation Asia, in partnership with TerrAvant, is developing the Panra Fund, a USD 50M debt fund that integrates an embedded measurement approach, known as Resilience Assets (RAs), into agribusiness lending. The Fund will provide flexible revenue-based finance to regenerative agriculture enterprises, while a digital platform verifies and monetizes outcomes such as water, soil health, and biodiversity. This creates a dual-return model, delivering financial returns to investors and direct, performance-based ecosystem payments to farmers.
