During New York Climate Week 2025, Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), in partnership with Deutsche Bank, will host an event showcasing five investable climate finance solutions focused on advancing adaptation and mitigation in underserved markets. The program will convene leading investors, entrepreneurs, and experts to share perspectives on the opportunities and practical pathways for scaling capital flows to emerging economies, where financing is most needed.
Global climate finance reached a record USD 1.7 trillion in 2023 and will need to expand fivefold by 2030 to meet global climate goals. CPI is contributing to this effort through the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance and the Catalytic Climate Finance Facility, which together have supported more than 90 innovative financial vehicles and mobilized over USD 4.3 billion for climate action in emerging markets.
