The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance has been named one of 15 finalists for the World Economic Forum’s Giving to Amplify Earth Action (GAEA) Awards, in the Unlocking Capital at Scale category. The awards celebrate cross-sector partnerships that mobilize capital for climate and nature solutions. The Unlocking Capital at Scale category spotlights initiatives that creatively blend public, private, and philanthropic funding to deliver systemic impact. 

Since 2014, the Lab has incubated 78 innovative financial instruments, mobilizing over USD 4 billion for sustainable solutions in emerging markets. Its recognition as a finalist underscores the vital role of innovation and collaboration in channeling private capital toward climate action.
