Cooling as a Service (CaaS), a 2019 Lab alumn, was featured in a recent Forbes article highlighting its growing global impact.

Developed by the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE), CaaS is pioneering a pay-per-use model that helps organizations access highly efficient cooling solutions without upfront capital costs. This approach not only drives adoption of best-in-class, energy-efficient technologies, but also directly reduces electricity consumption, emissions, and cooling costs at a time when global demand for cooling is set to triple by 2050.
